Interactive Activities/Games Not Loading onto SMARTBoard Page

I was instructing some teachers into all of the wonders that is SMARTBoard, and one of them complained to me that he could not replicate on his laptop what I was doing at the board.  I was showing how to select interactive games and activities (anagram, category sort) from the gallery by selecting one and dragging it onto a SMARTBoard page, and he was not able to do this successfully.  He would get the shadow of the activity drag into the workspace, but when he released his mouse, only the blue outline remained.  No part of the activity, none of the "guts", would actually load.

Since I had never seen this happen before, I was at a loss as to how to help him.  Can someone please give me some clues as to what is going on?  Here are the specs on this laptop: The laptop I have is a "Dell Latitude D510" with " Windows XP-Professional" 2002 version. 1.73 GHz processor, 504 MB Ram.

Thank you so much.  By the way, he was using the latest version of the gallery with LAT 2.0.  Non interactive gallery items would appear on the page, but not the interactive ones.

    Hi John,

When the interactive gallery items do not work, this is an indication that the adobe flash player is not installed on the computer.

You can download and install it from here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

If that doesn't help you may want to have a look at this thread:
