Please stop by the Assistive Technology Lab in room 210A. (end of the hall) We have had a SMART board in this room for over five years. Teachers can "play" with the board and see how it can enhance education for kids with special needs. This is an open lab, no formal presentations, so is very laid back. No sales people, just teachers and ed support folks.
Below is the blurb from the FETC program about the lab.
While at the conference, come explore the latest in Assistive and Instructional Technology in the
Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resource System's (FDLRS) Hands-On Technology Lab. At the lab's reading, writing, math,
science, art, and music stations, attendees can preview programs that support differentiated instruction to match the
needs of students with disabilities as well as general education students who are struggling to achieve learning gains.
