Opening Notebook 10 = crash recovery data and error report

    Hello everyone,

I'm using the latest version of Notebook on a Windows XP Pro operating system. Encountered something unusual today. When I try to open any Notebook file (new or made previously), I see the usual blue Notebook image and my pages loading, but I never actually see the pages; I get a message asking if I want to see crash recovery data. When I click Yes, I get the Error message that asks if I want to send an error report. (I have done so.)

I've tried restarting the computer, reinstalling Notebook, and deleting the custom toolbar files and Notebook settings as described in another Forum post http://exchange.smarttech.com/forums/p/887/2395.aspx#2395.  No luck. Here's the error report:

If anyone has any ideas, I'd sure appreciate it. I have already called tech support, but it will be a bit before they get back to me.

     Thanks!

GoEagles, would you be able to post this in the tech support forum, you're more likely to get a response from a techspert in there that will help you with your problem

    Cheers

Thanks, Joe. I see your point. I've done that. Here's hoping!

Great, and if that doesn't work I'd reccomend you contact technical support directly from this site:

Re: Opening Notebook 10 = crash recovery data and error report

HI - I've also had alot of problems using NB 10. Ever since I installed it on my computer (a Mac - IBookG4) I have been having problems with it. Often, but not always when I open Notebook 10 it says that the program has an error and that it must be reinstalled. When this occurs, it will not allow me to open any of my notebook files. This happens very often, but not everytime I open Notebook. Has anyone else encountered this and if so how did they fix it? This never happened once when I used the older version of Notebook. Thanks!! :)
