I am assuming that my problem is with the floating tools. When I use my smartboard, there is a giant transparent mouse that always get in the way. I would like to remove it. Sometimes it forces me to have to click twice on the board. It is annoying. Please help me remove it.

I was just wondering, are you using Windows Vista when this issue occurs?

If so, here's how you fix it:

 Open the Windows control panel and double click on Pen and Input Devices.

 Select the Touch tab in this window and remove the check mark from the Touch Pointer box as
seen below.

That will remove the mouse icon if you are using Windows Vista.

If not, please let us know what operating system you are using so that we can assist you further.

 Ah!! I'm so glad I looked before I posted! I was just about to ask the same question...  Now, I'm wondering... We have 2 boards at school.  This problem occured only on one of them (using same computer of course)... any idea why?  Shouldn't have happened on both boards?

Problem solved!! Thank goodness! The GIANT mouse was driving me crazy!

It definately should have happened on both boards - I can't think of any reason why it wouldnt...
